I attended your school in the winter of 2009. I am currently a contract flight attendant. I get to go to fabulous places and fly famous people. I couldn't have made it here without The Travel Academy. I have flown celebrities from Lady GaGa to Bruce Springsteen, to going on tours with bands in South America for a month at a time to taking friends to go golfing for the weekend. I graduated from the travel academy in August of 2010 and since then I've worked for two different airlines and I've been living the dream of a flight attendant! I've loved every moment of it and owe so much to The Travel Academy for making it happen! All of the hard work and practicing for interviews you do in class came in handy especially going in front of 300 people at an open house. I had a friend who attended The Travel Academy in Bloomington, Minnesota. When I asked her about it she told me that she took a 6 week course and that she was guaranteed life time assistance in finding a job. To me it sounded too good to be true but after seeing her graduate and get hired as a flight attendant almost immediately I wanted to enroll to increase my chances of being hired as a flight attendant for an airline. I enrolled for an 8 week course in May 2010; the course was fun and exciting yet still challenging. I graduated at the end of June 2010 and within two weeks I put what i was taught at The Travel Academy to use, at my first interview. I was hired a week later by Colgan Air as a flight attendant and will soon begin my training. I'm so glad to have had the opportuinty to attend The Travel Academy. Sometimes when something is too good to be true, it is good and true!

While attending The Travel Academy, I was given the tools to futher my career in travel. Hands-on experience allowed me to learn so much in such little time. ...has truely been a life- changing one. It's hard to find the words to desribe just how much it has already benefited my life and how much I have learned, but here is my gratest effort. I was in my second year of college at the time I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a flight attendant. Things were just at a stand-still in my education and I was always interested and drawn to the airline business, especially since my Grampie was a pilot for over 30 years. While I was home on winter break, I decided to look at all my options and typed in "Flight Attendant Schools" on the internet. One of the first couple results was the Travel Academy. I looked over the site and studied the company, making absolute sure it was credible. The Better Business Bureau gave the Travel Academy an A grade, which I was greatly pleased with. I was also excited that it was close to home- right here in Minnesota. I called to enroll and got all set-up. I was ready to get started! My opportunities in life now seemed endless. Yes, traveling is a major attraction for many aspiring cabin crew members, but I was also excited to meet new people, help others, and learn more about other cultures in the process; to become a better version of myself! The Travel Academy helped me to become more of the person I want to be. The wonderful staff prepared me for the future that I wanted. The program at the Travel Academy is obviously extremely tailored to the travel industry , so not only did I learn about becoming a flight attendant(FA), I was also able to learn to learn how to use programs such as WorldSpan and learned about being a travel agent. Along with airport codes, geography, and interview skills, I learned of the great potential I possess. Now my dream can truly become a reality, and it's already started! In about the final week of the courses I started applying to airlines I was interested in. My favorite by far, was Compass Airlines, a regional airline wholly- owned by Delta. I loved the fact that Compass was more like a family business rather than a major corporation. After completing a phone interview and updating my passport, I was scheduled for for an open house for prospective Compass FA's. I attended the open house and found that Compass was even better than I could ever emagine. Upon completeing my face- to- face interview with a Compass representative, I was conditionally hired and am now starting my FA training Monday! Needless to say, I am extremely excited for this wonderful opportunity! I have come quite a distance in a short amount of time. My future now holds even more potential than before, and a huge thank you and recognition goes to the Travel Academy. I honestly don't know where I'd be right now if it weren't for them. The program is incredibly amazing and I learned so much. I followed the instructors advise, along with maintaining my determination and poise, and I am now on my way to starting my own legacy in the travel industry! much Thanks and Blessings Always, and smiles too!
