Transportation to / from Minneapolis
All Students should plan to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota if attending class in person. There are many ways to get here by bus, train, plane and car. A vehicle is not needed, however it is always helpful to have your own vehicle in a foreign place. Please discuss your travel plans with The Travel Academy before confirming those plans to prevent arrival conflicts. The Travel Academy will do our best to accommodate your arrival, including picking you up from the Airport, Bus Station or Train Station. Any student who is driving to Minneapolis will be met at The Travel Academy by a staff member and checked into their student housing.
By Plane- Minneapolis/ St. Paul International- MSP
Minneapolis/ St. Paul International Airport is divided into two terminals and is serviced by multiple air carriers including Delta, Continental, United, Air Canada, Midwest, Frontier, American, Alaska Airlines & US Airways operating at Terminal one-Lindbergh. Southwest, Airtran, Sun Country & Iceland Air operate from Terminal two- Humphrey. The Airport code is MSP for flight booking purposes.
By Train- Amtrak
St. Paul Midway Amtrak Station is directly serviced by the Amtrak Route Empire Builder from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois. Many other routes connect to the Empire Builder in Chicago, allowing you to travel from the West, the South and the East. View ALL of the routes offered by Amtrak and find your nearest station. The Amtrak code to arrive in St. Paul/ Minneapolis is MSP.
By Bus- Greyhound
Greyhound offer an extensive route making it very easy to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota from almost anywhere in the country. Learn more about traveling by bus. Greyhound even have a stop at The Mall of America, just minutes away from our school and student housing.
