Title: More Graduates Hired-More Jobs-More Success Stories & Advancements!
Travel Academy graduates continue to be in high demand with many travel companies hiring! We are working with several local travel agencies to place students as Travel Agents or in internships, including a local agency/consolidator looking for bilingual agents. We are also forging new relationships with different host agencies to place students as Independent Agents. There are many other travel industry jobs available for our graduates posted on our "Job Hotline" Hiring Database, but you must be a student or past graduate to review them with a password!
Flight Attendant opportunities continue to lead most positions available. The Hiring Manager and Lead Flight Attendant Recruiter from Mesa Air Group, which consists of Mesa Air, United Express, Delta Express, Go Hawaii Airlines, Freedom Airlines and US Air Express, was at The Travel Academy last month to interview and hire our students! This is in addition to at least 5 other airlines hiring Flight Attendants right now, and we are in contact with each of them to help give our students and graduates a boost in the hiring process.
The Travel Industry is not just travel agents and airlines - we also train you for work inside tour companies, cruise lines, hotels, car rental companies, and more! We have had students hired by Marriott hotels, Enterprise Holdings (Enterprise/Alamo/National car rentals), and various cruise reservation centers! Call us today to get signed up for an upcoming class and start your new travel career!
The Travel Academy is pleased and excited to share with you some of the students that were placed in the travel industry in the month of November! We attribute their success to our winning combination of the skills we teach and the relationships we have with travel companies.

In addition, Tapiwa M. was offered a position as a Reservations Agent with Southwest Airlines, and Jana K. was promoted from within her agency!
Today, I went to an interview with TranStates (United Express and U.S. Airways). They sent me an e-mail last week to go for to the interview today. They were hiring for people to be based in IAD.
There were only 7 people in the room, myself included, and the training begins on December 2nd.
I am so excited! I did everything that you told us to do and it worked. Thank you so much.

Delta Air Lines has outlined several new international routes and other expanded service, which will begin next year. "No other airline has the alliance partners, fleet flexibility or network breadth to consistently deliver new routes for customers while at the same time being responsible in managing capacity," said Glen Hauenstein, a Delta executive. "As America's flag carrier to the world, Delta's 2010 schedule will bring new nonstop service to dozens of communities around the globe, thanks to the strength of our worldwide alliances."
