Get Hired - More Jobs for Travel Academy Grads!
MORE Jobs for Travel Academy Grads!
VIPdesk, an innovative leader of outsourced virtual customer care solutions, recently contacted The Travel Academy to help them fill over 50 openings for Home-Based Travel and Customer Service Specialists. In this position, candidates would book travel for a major credit card company's rewards program clients. Normally the position requires 2+ years of experience with a GDS (such as Worldspan, which The Travel Academy trains our students on), but because of the demand, they are waiving the requirement for Travel Academy graduates.
The Travel Academy has also been working to place our graduates with several airlines now hiring Flight Attendants, including international carriers like Lufthansa and Aer Lingus, international charter carrier Ryan International Airlines, and regional airlines such as Alaska Airlines, Sky West, Compass Airlines (Delta), and Mesa Air Group (United Express, Delta Connection, US Airways Express).
The Travel Academy Experience
We have current students and graduates interviewing with 7+ companies right now - including airlines, travel agencies, reservation centers, hotels, and cruise lines! Our training program not only gives you knowledge and skills for the industry, but we also provide you with career development in areas such as resume writing, interviewing, and professionalism. Out of 60 candidates in attendance at a recent Ryan International Open House, all 6 Travel Academy graduates that were there were invited to the second round of interviewing!
Here is what a few of our recently placed graduates had to say about their Travel Academy experience:
I was asked back to their (RIA's) training program! I am so happy - this was my top pick for airlines! Thank you so much for all your help, I strongly feel you and Liz's help in school was what got me to this point.
-Erin P., Ryan International Airlines
Thanks! My experience at The Travel Academy was very beneficial for my career. The resume and the interview segment is what got me as far as I am now and it's only been about a month. I know RIA will be impressed by everything else I have learned from The Travel Academy, i.e. airport codes, airline codes, FARs, etc. So I thank everyone at The Travel Academy for helping me be successful!
- Tyra R., Ryan International Airlines
