Financial Aid Now Available - PLUS New Industry Opportunities!
Travel Academy Introduces New FINANCIAL AID QUALIFIED Program!
The Travel Academy is excited to announce a new program that will better prepare students to enter the travel industry and will qualify for financial aid from the state of Minnesota. Our new program will be 10 weeks and 300 classroom hours in length. The new program will qualify for financial aid from Minnesota SELF Loans, enabling students to pay for the program, housing, and personal expenses while attending class.
We are now accepting students for our new Financial Aid Qualified 300 Hour Program starting Monday, June 21. We only have room for 14 students, so call today to learn more and get your spot reserved!
The Travel Academy Experience
Our graduates are in demand! In just the last month we've been approached by American Express Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, AAA Travel, Colgan Air - Continental Express, Mesa Air Group, a travel agency in California, and Enterprise Holdings (Enterprise, Alamo, National Rent-A-Car) - all looking to hire our students! ARC reports that the year is getting off to a good start, with total travel agency sales in January rising 10.7%, to over $5.9 billion. Total transactions rose nearly 7%, to 12.1 million. Breaking out the monthly total, ARC said the $5.9 billion includes $2.6 billion in domestic fares, a 7% increase, plus nearly $2.4 billion in international fares, a gain of over 15%.
