Summer Travel Expected to be Busiest on Record!!
The Travel Industry is expected to have its biggest summer of all time.
Two million more air travelers than last year for the next 3 months. Airline planes are expected to be flying at 90 to 95% capacity. Travel Agency sales grew 19% in the first quarter of 2006. HELP, The Travel Academy cannot graduate students fast enough.
We always have numerous airlines hiring for Flight Attendants, Reservation Agents, Ticket/Gate Agents. Last week we had an airline contact us looking to hire 35 more flight attendants and 10 over the phone immediately!
Many travel agent jobs available for Travel Academy Graduates. Travel companies coincide their hiring dates to our class graduation dates! We have placed many graduates as a corporate or leisure travel agent and we have many more positions to fill. We have also started many Independent Travel Agents on a successful path working from home. In addition we have numerous positions available for Tour Companies, Cruise Lines, Car Rentals and Hotels/Resorts. We even have employment opportunities while going to school. We graduated a student in March, she started working for Avis Car Rental and was the highest producing counter representative in April. Her salary with bonus was over $17.00 an hour the first month!
