and will be flying students to Washington D.C.
for Flight Attendant interviews. -
Go Jet Airlines invited several students to
interview for Flight Attendant positions in Chicago
and have extended offers to our students. -
Compass and Mesaba Airlines/ Delta Regional Carriers
invited and hired graduates in March for the following
bases-Minneapolis/St. Paul, Detroit, and Memphis.
Additional students invited to Airtran Airways Flight
Attendant interviews. -
American Express Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and
Travel Leaders have all interviewed and extended offers
to Travel Acamedy Graduates for Travel Agent positions. -
Regional Elite which hires the Customer Service Agents
for Delta Airlines nationwide invited 10 students to
interview! -

I was just hired as a Customer Service Gate Agent with
Regional Elite Airline Services, and I know that I would
not have gotten the job without the training and support
I received from The Travel Academy. Since I graduated last
year I have been lucky enough to work at The Travel Academy
part time while continuing to look for a job in the industry.
I was able to intern at a travel agency in the Minneapolis
area that contacted The Travel Academy, and was also an Independent

Financial Aid Now Available with our NEW
300 Hour Program!
The Travel Academy is excited to announce a new program that
will better prepare students to enter the travel industry and
will qualify for financial aid from the state of Minnesota.
Our new program will be 10 weeks and 300 classroom hours in
length.
The new program will qualify for financial aid from Minnesota
SELF Loans, enabling students to pay for the program, housing,
and personal expenses while attending class. Anyone that signs
up to attend this program will qualify for financial aid; residence
in Minnesota is NOT required!
We are now accepting students for our new Financial Aid Qualified
300 Hour Program starting Monday, June 21. We only have room for
14 students, so contact us today to learn more and get your spot

New 2011 Class Schedules for 120 Hour Course
We are always trying to improve here at The Travel Academy, and
always seeking to provide you with the best possible experience.
To that end, we are tweaking how we schedule our 120 Hour Course
for the upcoming year, 2011. Starting in January of 2011, both our
morning and afternoon classes will be 6 weeks long, five days a week!
This will enable you to get your training more quickly and we'll be
able to fit another class date into the calendar year, giving you
more scheduling options!
