16+ Students Hired as Travel Agents & Flight Attendants This Month
The Travel Academy Experience
At least 16 students hired in April alone!!
•Xtra Airways held an open house in Texas and South Carolina where our students were hired as Flight Attendants for flights chartering professional sports teams.
•Colgan Air who operates as Continental Connection, United Express, & US Airways Express flew 3 students to Washington D.C. to interview & hired all 3 as Flight Attendants.
•Compass & Mesaba Airlines both Delta regional carriers hired multiple students in March & April for Flight Attendant positions.
•Regional Elite which hires the customer service agents for Delta Airlines nationwide are interviewing and has hired mutliple students in April.
•American Express Business Travel (AMEX) directly contacted The Travel Academy and hired 6 of our students so far for Travel Counselor positions.
•Republic Airlines-a Midwest Airlines carrier & PSA Airlines- a US Airways carrier have both hired graduates as Flight Attendants this month.
•Additional students have been hired as Customer Service Agents with Jet Blue Airways in April.
•Travel Academy students are branching out and exploring more job opportunities in the hotel side of travel. Quality Inn has hired a current student for the Front Desk position, and hundreds of other openings are available in hotels & resorts nationwide this summer!
•Multiple students have interviews for Flight Attendant positions with Airlines including Skywest Airlines, Ryan International, and Transtates Airlines.

Our New 300 Hour program begins on June 21, 2010! Financial Aid is Available!
The Travel Academy is proud to announce the addition of our 300 hour program. This program will better prepare students to enter the travel industry and will qualify for financial aid from the state of Minnesota. This program will be 10 weeks long and total 300 classroom hours in length.
This program will qualify for financial aid from Minnesota SELF Loans, giving students the opportunity to pay for the program, housing, transportation and personal expenses while attending class. Students ONLY qualify for financial aid if enrolled in the 300- hour program. Minnesota residence is NOT required which allows students from across the USA and beyond to attend The Travel Academy. About Virtual On-line Learning
With our online training virtual classroom, you actually observe and participate in our classroom during normal class hours using your computer. If you can't attend in person and you are an active learner, this training is the best way to achieve your educational goals from the comfort of your home or office. We offer Virtual Training for both our Accelerated and Expanded Programs. If you choose training through our virtual classroom, you'll be a part of one of the first virtual travel training classrooms in the USA.

Updated Class Schedules for 2011
The Travel Academy is constantly trying to improve and create unforgetable experiences that allow our students to experience the most in the shortest amount of time. With that, we are making some changes to our 120 Hour Courses for the year 2011. Starting in January of 2011, both our morning and afternoon classes will be 6 weeks long, five days a week! This will allow you to complete training more quickly and we will be able to fit another class date into the calender year, creating more efficient scheduling options!
