The Travel Academy is hosting a Travel Company Career Fair on May 18th for our graduates and students! Some of the companies scheduled to attend so far: American Express, Norwegian Cruise Line, AAA Travel, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (Delta Connection & United Express),Compass Airlines (Delta Connection), Carlson Wagonlit, Mesa Air Group (US Airways Express & United Express).
These are just a few of the companies working with The Travel Academy to hire Flight Attendants, Travel Agents, Customer Service Agents, Car Rental Representatives, Reservation Agents for: Airlines, Hotels, Cruise Lines, etc., Shipboard positions with Cruise Lines, and many more!
A Delta Regional Airline personally contacted The Travel Academy again stressing their interest in hiring our graduates for Flight Attendants in MEM, MSP, & LGA for May 23rd!
The Flight Attendant Recruiter for US Airways Regional carrier contacted The Travel Academy again looking to hire MORE Flight Attendants! Stressing how much they prefer to work with us to hire our Flight Attendant graduates!
We are contacted constantly by Travel Agencies looking to hire Travel Agents! We need more Travel Agent students NOW!!!

The Travel Academy Experience
- March graduate Elif A. originally from Istanbul, Turkey, now living in New Jersey became a US citizen while she was attending The Travel Academy. In mid- April she flew to Turkey to interview for a Flight Attendant position with her home country airline, Turkish Airlines. She is currently in Turkey visiting family and friends and was offered the position early last week! Congrats Elif!!
- January graduate Bryan O. from Minnesota and 2010 graduate Justine W. from Wisconsin called on our Placement Department looking to move into a position closer to home. They were both offered Flight Attendant positions with Compass Airlines | Delta Connection. They started today and are joining current Compass Flight Attendants and Travel Academy grads; 18 year olds Tenisha B. from Ohio & Ashley S. from New Mexico, Anne S. from Minnesota, Anne Marie H. from Texas plus others. Compass is headquartered in Minnespolis allowing The Travel Academy to work very closely with the airline. They also hire at 18 with a height as tall as 6'4"!
April graduate Cynthia L. from California interviewed for the Flight Attendant position last week and was offered the job. The recruiters complimented Cynthia on how well she was prepared for her interview! - April graduate Karen P. from Nebraska has applied to her home country airline, Copa Airlines for a Flight Attendant position. She is currently completing an english language assessment and if she passes the assesment she will be invited to Columbia, South America for a face to face interview!
March graduate Stacey P. from Wisconsin was offered a Flight Attendant position with SkyWest Airlines a Delta Connection & United Express carrier, who also recently hired graduates Cortney H. from Ohio and Frances R. from St. Croix Island. Congrats Stacey! - April graduate Angeles M. from Illinois recently interviewed with GoJet Airlines a United Express carrier. If offered the Flight Attendant position she will be joining other recently hired March graduates Celeste R. from Arizona and Karen M. from Illinois!
Our current student Jaime C. from Minnesota interviewed with AAA Travel for a Travel Counselor position at one of the many Minnesota branches. - Our January graduate of our 15 week Saturday class Deb T. from Bermuda was offered a Travel Agent position with American Express in Florida where she'll be handling Platinum and Centurion International Travel in the consumer travel division! See Deb to the right!
- Our March graduate Chuck J. from South Dakota has been invited to interview for a Flight Attendant position with Ryan International, an International Charter airline that has contracts with the government. These flights take government and military officials to and from the Middle East, as well as other parts of the world.
- Our February graduate Brenda B. from Massachusetts attended The Travel Academy Virtually. She interviewed with Air Wisconsin for the Flight Attendant position last week and will find out in a few weeks if she secured the position!
- Our March graduates Felicia S. and Timeka W. both from Georgia interviewed in mid- April with Atlantic Southeast Airlines for the Flight Attendant position! They will hear back soon regarding their applications and interviews.
- Our current virtual student Cindy B. from Minnesota has been in contact with Travel Quest/ Travel Leaders to become an Independent Travel Agent after her Travel Academy graduation.
- A special invitation was extended to 2 Travel Academy students. Our current student Jaime C. and our March graduate Georgette G. both from Minnesota have been invited to Carlson Wagonlit to tour the facility, sit in & listen to live calls with current Corporate Agents and discuss upcoming job opportunities as onsite Corporate Agents!
