Flight Attendants, Ticket Agents, Travel Agents and Cruise Line Employees Needed!
Its been a busy few weeks with all the upcoming graduates preparing for graduation and starting their new travel careers! When is it your time to begin the next step in your travel career and become a flight attendant, travel agent, or sailing away on a cruise ship as an employee? Currently there are at least 29 airlines hiring flight attendants and many more positions are available in reservations and ticket agents. In addition there are many travel agent and cruise line positions available as well! The Travel Academy is contacted all the time by travel companies to hire our graduates. We cannot graduate students fast enough!

The Travel Academy Experience
Virtual graduate, Danielle O, New York, is currently interviewing with Southwest Airlines for a customer service agent position and at Atlantic Southeast Airlines for a flight attendant position. Atlantic Southeast Airlines is providing Danielle a flight to Atlanta for the interview!
- Yvonne H, Georgia, accepted a position as a flight attendant with Atlantic Southeast Airlines a Delta Regional Carrier.There is no maximum age to become a flight attendant. Yvonne is 50+ and The Travel Academy has trained students in their 60's that have been hired as flight attendants and many other travel careers.
- Lori D, Minnesota has been invited to the upcoming flight attendant open house with Sun Country Airlines! Lori is currently a flight attendant with Atlantic Southeast Airlines a Delta Regional Carrier and is looking to advance her career with Sun Country. Lori is a great example of our life time placement assitance graduates receive. She also recently visited The Travel Academy and spoke to the students regarding many of her experiences as a flight attendant.
- Brandi C, New York, recently graduated from flight attendant training at Atlantic Southeast Airlines and will begin her flight schedule soon!
- Slyvianne D, France now living in Minnesota and Tenzin L, Minnesota were invited to the Sun Country Airlines open house interviews for flight attendant positions. Liza L, the hiring manager of reservations for Sun Country and a 2004 graduate of The Travel Academy regularly hires our graduates. Recently Liza hired Jamie C, Minnesota for a reservation agent position.
- Charley W, Washington accepted a position as a travel counselor with AAA and will begin August 15! Charley was also invited to the flight attendant open house for Sun Country Airlines. Carri L, Minnesota also accepted a position as a travel agent with AAA! AAA is third largest travel agency organization in the world specializing in vacation packages.

- Two of the largest travel agency organizations in the world American Express Travel and Carlson Wagonlit Travel will be hiring this fall and winter! The Travel Academy students will be given exclusive interviews.
- Sunshine Travel, a local travel agency in Minnesota recently contacted The Travel Academy to host interns and to interview current students and graduates for travel agent positions. Sunshine Travel is one of many travel agencies looking to hire our graduates.
- Philip B, Ohio, left for Hawaii on July 23 to start his travel career on Norwegian Cruise Lines. NCL is currently sailing the Hawaiian Islands and regularly visits The Travel Academy to recruit our students.
- The Travel Academy's Newest Instructor! Mandy joins The Travel Academy as the lead Travel Industry Trainer. Mandy graduated from The Travel Academy in 2005 and has been a travel agent and trainer and previously worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a trainer! Mandy starts August 2! The Travel Academy looks forward to the great experiences Mandy has to bring to our students! Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is an innovative cruise line consistently improving the experience for their passengers and employees. The most recent additions are their unique restaurant upgrades. Mandy's personal experiences at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines will enhance The Travel Academy's cruise line training even more.
- Colin, who previously worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines will be speaking to students about life on the ship, benefits, application process, and more in early August!
- Compass Airlines a Delta Regional Carrier again visited The Travel Academy to speak with our students about employment opportunities and upcoming interviewing events. They continue to speak to all of our classes to help fill their many employment opportunities. Jennifer C, Tennessee accepted a flight attendant position with Compass Airlines and will be taking to the skies shortly! Rodrigue D, Massachusetts has been invited to interview with Compass for the Detroit base for a flight attendant position. Rodrigue received the invitation before graduation!
- Ejay R, Arizona, received an invitation to interview with Continental Airlines for a flight attendant position. Continental Airlines is providing Ejay a flight to the interview.
- Ryan International Airlines will be visiting The Travel Academy this fall and interviewing students and graduates for open flight attendant positions! They specialize in charter flights for the United States government, sports teams, tour companies, and private parties both international and domestically.
- AirTran Airways in Minneapolis, recently contacted The Travel Academy to speak to our students about upcoming job positions as ticket and gate agents, flight attendants, and reservation agents.
- Mesa Air Group operating as US Airways|United Express will be visiting The Travel Academy students again to interview for flight attendant positions.
- Lesa H, California, is currently going through her second interview with Southwest Airlines for a ticket and gate agent position.
- Enterprise Rent-A-Car will be visiting The Travel Academy students again later in August or early fall to present their many job opportunities.
- The Hilton Hotel Brands contact The Travel Academy often asking to have their jobs added to our private job hotline. Many of the open positions include front desk customer service, night audit, shuttle driver, and house keeping.
- ****Once a student at The Travel Academy, you will receive access to the job hotline website. There are hundreds of travel industry job opportunities!****
- Joel S, North Carolina, has an interview with American Cruise Lines later in August and is currently interviewing at The Holiday Inn, The Graves Hotel, and Comfort Inn for a customer service representative position. Joel received interview invitations before he graduated!
