The Travel Academy Experience
~Joannie Z, Georgia, will be interviewing with Hawaiian Air for a flight attendant position. Hawaiian Air is flying Joannie to Hawaii for the interview. She also has a interview with Emirates Airline for a flight attendant position. Joannie received invitations to these interviews before she graduated! Kivene D, Florida, also received an invitation to interview with Emirates Airline for a flight attendant position. When you are hired with Emirates Airline you will be flying with the largest aircraft in the world and living in Dubai, the wealthiest city in the world! ~Rodrigue D, Massachusetts, originally from Haiti, recently interviewed for a flight attendant position with Omni Air International. Omni Air International is the largest charter airline in the world. They fly sports teams, the military, government officials, and private charter groups around the world. Rodrigue also has an interview with Compass Air, Delta-Regional Carrier for a flight attendant position. ~Charlene S, Minnesota has an interview for a travel agent position at Sunshine Travel & Tours' Graduate Gene B, New York, also has an interview with Sunshine Travel for a travel agent position. He is currently a reservation agent with Sun Country Airlines. Gene is a great example of our lifetime placement assistance we offer to our graduates! We work with you until your hired and again when you want to advance your travel career! Graduate Angela M, Minnesota, also is interviewing with Sun Shine Travel. Angela is another great example of our lifetime placement assistance. She is currently working as a front desk representative at Fairfield Inn & Suites and now is pursuing her interest in becoming a travel agent. ~Krys, a trainer at Centrav, attended our graduation ceremony to setup interviews with our graduates to fill two open positions. Centrav is an international airline consolidator that assists travel agents with their bookings. Centrav has been recruiting our students for years! 25% of their employees are Travel Academy Graduates! ~Holly D, Oregon, has an interview with Centrav for an international airline representative position. ~Charley W, Washington, accepted a flight attendant position for Sun Country Airlines. She also received a job offer from AAA Travel. AAA is the third largest travel agency in the world and regularly contacts The Travel Academy to hire our graduates. ~Jennifer D, Minnesota, has an interview with MLT Vacations for a Latin American destination specialist position. MLT is one of the largest providers of vacations in the United States and manages vacations packages for Delta Vacations, Continental Vacations, and others! Jennifer also has an interview with AAA Travel for a travel agent position. ~Brittany M, Illinois, had an interview with American Cruise Lines for a steward position and is awaiting their response. Joel S, North Carolina, accepted a steward position aboard American Cruise Lines and starts sailing in Rhode Island next week! ~Holly D, Oregon, recently interviewed with Clarion Hotel for a front desk position. Holly also applied to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for a vacation planner position. She was contacted to take an assessment before a scheduled interview. ~Colin, visited The Travel Academy and spoke to the students on the many employment opportunities aboard cruise ships and discussed what life is like living on the cruise ship. Colin has been employed on many different cruise lines and most recently Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Mandy, our newest cruise line, travel & tourism trainer was a trainer for Royal Caribbean and has held positions as a leisure and group travel agent, cruise specialist, resolution specialist and more! Learn more about our new instructor Mandy! ~Virtual graduate Brenda B, Massachusetts, will be interviewing with Air Wisconsin for a flight attendant position. Air Wisconsin will fly Brenda to the interview! ~Students visited Village Travel, a local travel agency in Minnesota, to tour their facility and get hands-on experience of the daily duties of a travel agent. ~Martha G, Texas, and Brenda E, Minnesota recently interviewed for a flight position at the Pinnacle Airlines-Delta Regional Airline open house. ~Charles, J, South Dakota, began his flight attendant career at Ryan International in Rockford, IL. Ryan International is one of the largest charter airlines that flies military, government officials, celebrities, and large groups around the world. ~Students recently attended the hands-on training facility for flight attendant safety training. Students will be going to the facility again later this month. ~Emily B, Minnesota, interviewed with the Sheraton Hotel for a front desk position. ~Students visited Country Inn & Suites, part of Carlson Travel Companies to tour their facility and learn more about the potential career opportunities with their hotel brand. Country Inn & Suites have hotels all over the world and offer paid internships. Carlson Travel Companies is the largest travel organization in the world. They own hotel chains, travel agencies, Radisson Cruise Lines, numerous restaurant chains, and other businesses. ~Current student Erikka M, Missouri, has The Travel Academy's first ever virtual webcam interview with Norwegian Cruise Lines for a steward position. NCL regularly hires our students for on board positions as waiters, stewards, activities, and numerous other positions. ~Current student Taylor B, Arizona, has an interview for Enterprise Car Rental for a customer service position. Taylor also interviewed at Signature Flight Support for customer service. ~Robert, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cabin safety inspector recently visited The Travel Academy and spoke to our students on the importance of airplane cabin safety. ~Sunita S, California, accepted an invitation to attend the flight attendant open house for Alliance Airline in California. ~Students recently toured the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for hands-on and behind the scenes experience of how the fair is put together and run successfully. |
