 -Compass Airlines | Delta Regional Carrier recently visited The Travel Academy to recruit our students for flight attendant positions. The Travel Academy is proud to announce that 8 students accepted flight attendant positions. These students were hired before they were half way through class! Congratulations to Izabela W, Massachusetts, originally from Poland, Alexis K, California, Juliet J, California, Ryan D, Saipan (US Territory in the Pacific), Marta M, California, Cathy L, Mississippi, Kenya F, Oregon, and Kirsten W, Minnesota! Lucy N, originally from Russia, Cazaria W, Arizona, and Morgan K, Texas, are awaiting a response from Compass.

 

*For the past year, Compass has visited each new class to specifically recruit our students and are scheduled to visit atleast throughout 2012!*

*Student Update*

 -Brandy R, Minnesota, recently moved to Dubai to start her exciting journey as an international flight attendant with Emirates Airlines. For her first flight, Brandy gets the experience to ride in the cock pit for take off and landing in the largest aircraft in the sky today, the A-380! That is an unprecedented experience! Brandy will be flying to many exciting destinations including London, Paris, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, China, Italy, Thailand, and more! We look forward to following Brandy's journey as it unfolds.

 - Jennifer T, Minnesota,Particia O, Minnesota, and Charlene S, Minnesota accepted a vacation sales agent positions at MLT Vacations | Delta Vacations | Worry Free Vacations | United Vacations. MLT Vacations  is one of the largest provider of vacations in the United States. They recently visited The Travel Academy and hired 10 of our students: Renee T, Mary O, Nancy F, Jenna C, Kari K, Jake G, and Kaylyn A, Wisconsin.

-Tationa A, Massachusetts, orginally from the Cape Verde  

Islands off the Coast of Africa, accepted a flight attendant position with Mesa Air Group | Us Airways | United Airlines Carrier.

 

-Carlson Wagonlet Travel, one of the largest travel agency organization in the world contacted The Travel Academy to recruit corporate travel agents.

 

-Tanner P, North Dakota, previously a customer service representative at Hertz Car Rental, was promoted to Manager in less than a month!

 

-B.I World Wide, an incentive travel company contacted The Travel Academy to recruit our students for travel agent positions.

 

- Jeannie O, Florida and Aga J, originally from Poland interviewed for flight attendants position with Allegiant Air.

  

-Codi P, Maine is currently working as a junior waiter on Norwegian Cruise Lines, and recently accepted a hostess position with Mckinely Village Lodge in Alaska. Codi will be working in Hawaii in the winter and Alaska in the summer. Can you say travel spoiled?

-Barb A, Minnesota interviewed for a breakfast attendant position at The Hampton Inn hotel.

 

-Amtrak, a passenger rail service that travels to over 500 destinations contacted The Travel Academy to recruit our students for train attendant positions throughout the United States and starting at $17 per hour.  

 

-Margaret S, Calfornia is scheduled for her second interview  

with Alaskan Airlines for a flight attendant position. 

  

-Gene B, New York accepted an international agent position  

with Centrav. Gene previously was a reservation agent at Sun

Country Airlines. Gene took advantage of free the lifetime placement assistance offered at The Travel Academy for graduates. Students receive access to the private job hotline once half way through the program.

 

- Deb T, Florida accepted a travel agent position with AAA Travel in Florida, one of the largest travel agencies in the United States.

 

-Lisa S is The Travel Academy's newest staff member. Lisa is  

the office and housing assistant. Lisa previously has over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist, and a 2011 graduate of The Travel Academy where she received honors and perfect attendance.

 

-While students attend The Travel Academy, student housing
