The Travel Academy launched its new website last Wednesday!  You can now sign up for class, retrieve study guide and review a lot of great information on line.  Take a look at it and let us know what you think. 

A World of Opportunities for Travel Academy graduates!  The travel industry is done relatively the same around the world.  Read the recent email from Michael a graduate of 2007 and Lori our Placement Director.

It’s Michael, I was wondering about the other Reservation systems you offered.  I am looking into moving to Spain and I need to know the Apollo reservation system.”

Thanks for the email.....nice to hear from you!  How are you?  Wow, you might be moving to Spain?  Cool, good for you - that sounds like a great opportunity!

Yes, we do offer other res systems to learn.  We will send you the information on Apollo, it is an online tutorial and free of charge to you!   Take care & keep in touch, Lori”

I’m doing great I have been at my travel agency for 8 months now and have been to Mexico, Vegas and a Cruise.  I am loving every minute of it! Michael”

The Travel Academy works with all travel agencies and most travel companies throughout the nation!

In addition, The Travel Academy works with all airlines.  We know when they are hiring for Flight Attendants, Reservations and Ticket/Gate Agents and which bases they are hiring for.  We have at least 10 airlines looking to hire our graduates as Flight Attendants right now and the future looks strong.  One of the airlines we are currently working with is Northwest Airlines/Airlink, Mesaba Airlines.  They plan to hire 36 Flight Attendants each month for the next 12months!  Their Flight Attendant Hiring Manager works directly with Travel Academy students to train and help them become hired!

Here is a recent quote from a student that was hired by Mesaba Airlines before she even graduated!  She and one other person applied while in school and both were hired before they graduated!

2 CLASSES REMAIN FOR 2008

October 27-Morning 8-Weeks, Monday-Thursday 8:15a - 12:15p 8 Seats

November 10-Afternoon 6-Weeks, Monday – Friday 1:15p – 5:15P 9 Seats

If these class dates do not work into your schedule we have Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Saturday classes running continuously throughout 2009.

After 5 years The Travel Academy will be forced to raise its prices to $3,495 starting January 1, 2009.  Any class signed up for between now and December 31, 2008 will be at the $2,975 cost.
