The Travel Academy was recently contacted by Mesaba, an affiliate of Northwest Airlines, to hire more Flight Attendants
Their goal is to hire 26 Flight Attendants every month for the next 18 months! We were also contacted by a company that recruits Flight Attendants for 22 international carriers. This is in addition to the 10 plus airlines we are currently working with to employ our graduates as Flight Attendants. Representatives from the airlines attend our successful open houses to recruit new Flight Attendants... We CANNOT Graduate Flight Attendants fast enough!
In the last few weeks we were contacted by AAA Travel, the nations 3rd largest travel organization. They are recruiting travel agents for 17 locations in Indiana and numerous locations in New York. This is in addition to the many other travel agencies and travel companies through out the nation trying to hire our graduates... We CANNOT Graduate Travel Agents fast enough!
Travel Industry Update:
Airline Reporting Corporation reported 79.9 Billion in airline sales for 2007 up 3.5% from 2006.
International airline sales rose 3.4%.
Royal Caribbean Cruise line reports 1st quarter profits of 75.6 million compared to 8.8 million first quarter last year. Vcom, the nations largest retail travel agency network, reported 76% of travel agencies reported 1st quarter sales/profits better than 2007. New York City 1st quarter visitors were up 1 million from 8.5 in 2007 to 9.5 in 2008.

Barbara posted her resume on Monster.com and Careerbuilders.com (part of your required curriculum) and was contacted the same day by AAA Travel. She was hired within a week as a travel agent.

- June 9 Afternoon Class 6 Weeks, Monday-Friday 1:15p - 5:15p
- July 7 Morning Class 8 Weeks, Monday-Thursday 8:15a - 12:15p
- September 13 Saturday Class 16 Weeks, Saturday 9:00a - 5:00p
If these class dates do not work into your schedule we have Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Saturday classes running continuously throughout the year.
